CHALLENGE # 4

I know that iam sooo late with the challenge :( I did however make it days ago,just didnt get round to taking a photo and getting it on the blog. Have had a persistant migraine since wednesday,so have hardly been online ect,which has made me a bit behind with everything!
Challenge 4 was set by Andrea, and the challenge was to create an item with a winged theme. As i wasnt feeling too well i opted for a kinda quick card...using none other than the winged funky fairy herself...lol
I did however use tons of glamour dust...and wow does it sparkle...lol

Well...ive been wanting some of the pails ya can get ...so as i can altar them...n store some stash inside...however i think they are rather over priced...n i just will not be ripped off...lol
Soooo...i found these babies! They turned up yesterday...and they are fabby! They are 1 litre size....so a good size....and ya get 6...yes 6...for the total of £5.80...thats what they cost altogether with the p&p...so i say well worth it!

A Book for Bluebell wood

This is a very different post to the usual.Please read !
I have been asked by bluebell wood
to make them a book.Bluebell wood are the people that looked after Dan,and Meayla' Daughter Briony...towards the end of their lives.Which meant that we were able to have our children at home when their time came for them to go to heaven xxx
This book however is no ordinary book.This book is what shall be given to parents to look at,when the worst thing in the world has happened to them..when their child has just died x The book will contain verses and poems for parents to use at their childs funeral x
Iam going to be making this book with the bind it all.12 x 12 chipboard covers and then 12 x 12 cardstock pages. The book needs lots of pages...at least 50...or as many as i can get in it.The idea is that i create the book...then the poems and verses will be printed onto a4 sheets and stuck onto the 12 x 12 pages.Therefor only the sides of the 12 x 12 pages would need decorating...and obviously the covers.
Bluebell wood have offered to pay for what it cost etc....however i dont want anything from them for this...they need every penny they can get as it is.
The only reason ive decided to post about this is to see if anyone can offer help with this...as in ideas...helping make some pages...donating cardstock...donating embellishments etc. This cannot just be a thrown together thing...this HAS to be perfect...every page must be perfect etc.The colour theme will be the bluebell wood childrens hospice colour theme which is blue n lilac.
If you have any ideas etc...or are really good with scrapbook pages etc...or could donate anything at all that could be used on this...then please help!
I need to try n get this together asap really...but at the same time its going to require a lot of attention to detail etc...to get it just right.

BUILD A FLOWER (FULLER FLOWER)

Dont woory peeps i havent forgot bout adding the cutie patootie fairies to the shop!
They will be there in all their glory later today :)
(Ido have a 1yr old to look after ya know) lol
But av to admit i did take a bit of a time out yesterday to chill..lol
had a likkle play with the flowers again.
Decided to make me a likkle a6 album with the bind it all,the inside pages are all acetate...and they are holding some of me stamps! Gotta make more of these albums now...lol
Just wanted to show ya me flower...tis a fuller flower!
This can be done by stamping your flower shape..then go back round again stamping in between two petals.Then when ya done...cut it out,and then cut up the side of eack petal...ya can then curl some etc...ends up looking like a proper full fabric type flower thingy...lol
What ya think???

BUILD A FLOWER STAMP SET

How to create the blue n black flower(or any 2 colours ya like)
Here i stamped the spotty centre in black.
I then stamped the spotty solid petal in blue all around the centre to create the flower shape.
I then took the frilly petal shape and using black ink i stamped over the top of the stamped blue petals.
I then stamped another spotty centre in black on a seperate piece of paper.cut it out,inked the edges in the blue...stuck to middle of flower...and voila!! a two tone fabby BIG flower. Made just using white paper, the stamps n ink!


You can also use the frilly petal (as i call it) lol down the side/bottom of your card..and fills wi text etc!...Looks fabby

I just CANT stop playing with these! They are just sooooo Fan dabby dozy!!!! :))
Just wanna show ya the texture effect ya get with these if ya dont overload the stamp with ink...n dont press too hard (see pic of black petal)

peeps..i swear i have been in stamping heaven this evening! lol

I av just bin using the most amazing set of rubber stamps...eva!!! N im not just saying it cos i designed em...but these particular stamps...came about from an idea that i had.As far as im aware there nothing else like it available anywhere!!(If im wrong on this be sure to let me know)

Basically...ya know how everyone like the BIG flowers on their cards n scrap pages!!!....but these BIG flowers are rather pricey yeah......n if ya were to buy a BIG flower stamp....n im talking BIG!

Then it would cost quite a lot of your pennies to get just this one BIG stamp.....so i...using me likkle head....came up with such a FABBY solution to this ...which will enable peeps to have SEVERAL diff BIG flowers for less than the cost of 1 BIG flower stamp!

Although this is a crappy pic....i just gotta show this flower...LOL I SOOOOOOOOOOOO cant wait to realease this kit 2moro....You will LOVE them...it would be the best stamp kit you ever bought...if you're into BIG flowers that is...lol :)

As we have recieved a flood warning...as i live close to a river and a canal...and the wall could colapse at any time...which means we would get water from both...n both r very...very close to my house.So we have had warnings that we may have to evacuate!
Just hope it doesnt come to that..as i have to many things to move out of harms way...especially all of Dan's thing..as they could never be replaced x
Then theres computers...me craft stuff etc...all of which are downstairs...so fingers crossed peeps!..We dont want all these new fabby rubber stamps floating off down the road now do we!..lol It would be just my luck that! lol

BACK AGAIN!!!

Well...I tried the sbs7 challenge!!...Sorry guys...i have to admit defeat on that one....i simply couldnt do it! I did try...i only have A4 cardstock....it just didnt work right...so really sorry that i couldnt do it :(!!!
So as ive had a bit of time to myself (yeah) I have actually used some of the stash that came today...Ive done a scrapbook page of Chloe...n another likkle envelope book! I must admit i went back to buy some more of it...lol And was gutted as the price has gone up! When i bought it a cpl of days ago it was all 50% off ...n now there is only 30 % off :((( I knew i should have bought more the other day! So instead i went somewhere else n bought some other stuff!!! Lots of Blog candy stuff!!! :))
Piccies are rather crap as night n camera dont go together! :( And i wanted to get em on 2nite :)
