2 Sketches 4 you ...and my drawers :)

Time just seems to be running away with me right now :( Once again its a couple of weeks since my last post :( I seem that busy just lately updating everything else, this blog seems to take a back seat :(
Last night i was determined to create ...something...i needed to just create & relax :) I also had some new SU goodies that i wanted to try out....so i figured i would go check out this weeks challenge over on 2 sketches 4 you
Wow...they got some great things going on over there...starting with 'Ultimate card showdown' which starts on June 1st!!!! Tis my birthday too on that day...what a coincidinc ;)
There is a FAB prize to be had by the overall winner...some lucky crafter will think that all their birthdays have come at once one they get there hands on that little (huge) lot
I can't wait to see what the 'whole event' entails :) I love looking at the creations that are made for 2 sketches...I reckon that 2 sketches ought to have their own mag ;)...what a lot of eye candy that would be all in one place :)
....Enough of my waffle...haha
With everyone seeming to e going for the 'more' is 'more' approach, it really is making me drawn towards the 'simple' approach.
I just got a SU wheel and the 'oval all' stamps 'Gotta wait on the punches as they were out of stock' :(
So all i have used to make my creation is the 2 items above...plus a stamp from SU circle of friendship...SU tab punch...and circle nestie...ooh and white CS...not a scrap of paper in site *Shock horror* lol

I'm also getting 'fed up' of the same old, same old, so i didnt want to make just a 'normal' card! *I have cards coming out of my ears* :)
I made a kind of card/holder/wallet thingy (whatever you would call it)
The overall size is probably slightly larger than what you would think. The 'thankyou' cards inside measure 5" x 5" (these are just one sided,so don't open)
I was really pleased with the finished result, seen as how i had no idea what i was even gonna make when i started! And...even better...it was sooooo quick to do!!
Doing this has given me great ideas for uses for something like this....wedding invites....baby's arrival ect...I just love the effect and they are way qaick to make :)

Here are my drawers :) haha

I decided to alter up a mini chest of drawers using acrylic paint...crackle paint, & basic grey sugared paper. These will go in Chloe's room when she is bigger.
This chest of drawers...along with my 2 sketches card that i made a cpl of weeks ago, are both showing in the basic grey gallery :) *So quite pleased about that*
