The Shabby tea room

Ooh at last…

My internet has been playing up and i have been unable to post anything, so iam a little late with this weeks Shabby tea room challenge Here is this weeks inspiration picture along with the theme ‘Pretty in pink’

This weeks sponsers are DRS Designs I chose to use the lovely Berry Wreath image on my creation.

I decided to create a gift bag as i needed something to hold some chocoaltes that Chloe got for my mum for Mothers day.

I coloured each of the berries on the image with a pink copic pen. Although you can’t see it in the photo i have glittered the twigs/branches of the wreath.

I also glittered up the flowers. Die cut a little bird to sit on the wreath. His wing and the butterfly were cut from felt

I just had to include a bit of pom pom trim Smile

Why not Pop over and have a looksie at what the other girls have created for your inspiration. Then if you feel inspired you could create something too Smile

DIY Coverplate

Thats what the challenge was this week over at PTI make it monday I really didnt think that i would be able to join in this week as i didnt think that any of the pti dies that i have would be suitable. Then i had an idea of using the button boutique button die and thought that i would have a go with that.

I used the' button boutique button stamps and one of the heart stamps from love lives here set.

I cut the love sentiment on the cricut and then gave it a few coats pf glossy accents. (Was gonna enter it into the pti blog hop, but just didnt get it finished in time)

I actually really like this idea, even just using the button die, as in the little holes you could stamp alsorts of images eg: baby, xmas theme etc.

I was thrilled to have my card from last weeks make it monday featued on their fb page Smile Thanks pti girls Smile

Papertrey blog hop

Its the March 2014 papertrey blog hop and i thought that i would join in Smile

This ia the inspiration photo

shiny

Your creation has to include something high gloss or shiny. Eg clear embossing, glossy accents or just really glossy or shiny embellies.

This is what i came up with

All my embossing stuff etc is in the craft room so i cant get to any of it, but i did have in here my glossy accents. So using the button boutique stamp set and die i made some shiny buttons by giving them 2 coats of glossy accents.

I think my black inkpad needs reviving as its not looking too black here. I liked how the black ribbon popped out against the white.

Pretty flowers

Its time for a new challenge over at The shabby tea room

The host this week is Tina and she has chosen the theme ‘bits & bobbles’ and we want you to include flowers, buttons and a print/sentiment.

Our sponser this week is Digital papers by Janet straight away i just knew that i had to use THIS image for this challenge.

I just love this image, with the flowers and the pretty watercolour effect. How simple is it to create a card using this. I just resized the image to suit, printed it off . Then i cut the image out just around the outside and then stamped a sentiment inside and then stuck it down to my cb. Added  a little bow and button and job done Smile

You could use this image for all different occasions to. I printed a load off so as i have them to hand , so next time it would be even quicker to create.

Love me little wooden button with its pretty flowers, and of course gingham ‘love gingham’

Please stop by The Shabby tea room and take a looksie at what the other girlies have created for your inspiration, then come and join in the tea party with your own creation with a chance of winning some images by digital papers by janet

The theme over at the city crafter this week is spring in the garden. This card screams out spring in the garden to me (although not in my garden cos of my dog haha)
