Stamp it out

….That’s the theme for the challenge over at the City crafter challenge blog this week! This is another of my fave challenge blogs. They want you to use you stamps..so def no digi!

..So i took this as an opportunity to use some of the stamps that i love. On looking through me stash at all me ‘old’ stamps ect (some used once or twice, and some never') i came to the decision that from now on im not gonna keep buying all the 'latest trend’ stamps etc, instead i would rather just use the ones that i already own, as ive hardly had chance to get any use out of them…how can i when i’m always buying more, so the older ones get forgotten about :( ..Well no more i say!!! So i guess my new years resolution is…NO it’s not to buy no more stash (i couldn’t stick to that…lol)..what it is, is to no longer buy any of the latest ‘must have’s etc’ from no on i will only buy things that i really love the look of that i know i will use time and time again :)

..i decided to go the ‘whole hog’ with this challenge and only use stamps…no paper.

I ended up using some of me fave stamps and made 2 simple cards.

I ‘adore’ this floral stamp by inkadinkadoo, it is most definately a FAVE. The butterfly stamp is a hero arts stamp.which sadly had never been inked until this. The sentiment is also hero arts. A little colouring , a bit of dimension, a bit of liquid pearls and the not forgetting the ribbon, and the card was complete.

This small background stamp by prima is right there at the top of me FAVE list, i LOVE this stamp. The sentiment is hero arts. A little ribbon a bit of bling, and card complete.

Thanks for looking

Love, love, love them both. Their simple elegance is stunning.

I'm weeding through my stamps this week getting ready for a rubber stamp garage sale and like you, I'm find some that have never felt the touch of ink. Now if I could just part with some so I can buy someone else's stamps ........ hopeless, that what I am!
