Long time no blog :)

I seem to be getting good at this late posting :(
HUGE THANKS to everyone that left messages on my previous post about Dan's birthday xxx THANKYOU...it really does mean a lot xxx
The last few weeks have been quite hectic. I have decided to get married...lol (Obviously to me OH...lol)
I'm now 37..(Not getting any younger...lol) So figured that it was about time i got married! (A reason to have a party...hehe)  Me being the atheist that iam i have opted for a registry office wedding...WAS gonna have quite a large reception afterwards...but then MIL whinged about the date...blah blah...so i cancelled the lot, changed the date for the wedding to december 7th , and instead of paying out a fortune on the reception we are just having a reception in our local pub,... and then taking the kids to Euro disney for 5 days! Last few weeks i have been sorting out dresses, making invites ect...will post pics of invites tomoro!
I forgot to add my card on for last weeks Our creative Corner sketch, which was this one below.

A few weeks back i bought some lili of the Valley stamps , and at last i've had the chance to be able to join in with their challenge....which is 'Four seasons'  I have gone for spring...using this sooo cute image :)

There not even colours that i would normally use, but i acyually liked them together when i had finished.
The little shoes and glasses have been covered with glossy accents.

I can't even imagine what he would be like at 19, as i'l always just think of him being 15.

Just Magnolia Challenge

I decided to enter this weeks JUST MAGNOLIA challenge as i haven’t entered their challenge for a while.

This weeks the challenge is one of Bev’s sketches.

I used the same doodlebug papers  that i used for me last project as this will be given along with the drawer.

This card is very sparkly and blinging…lol

Our Creative Corner sketch # 24

It’s thursday which means a new sketch over at OUR CREATIVE CORNER

This is this weeks sketch!

I’ve turned the sketch this way for mine :)

I simply adore this image from Mo Manning, so i just had to use it again.

I’ve made lots of these drawer thingies before but usually i do them with 4 drawers,and i haven’t done one with an easel card on top either.This time however i have made this one as a gift so wanted it to be a decent size. The whole drawer is 8” x 8” in size and 2” deep.

 

The top ,base,sides and drawer front have all been ‘reinforced’ with chipboard so it’s actually quite sturdy.

I didn’t add on flowers ect as i wanted it to be able to lie quite flat as the purpose of it is to be used as a drawer. I guess i could have added flowers ect to the top, but i kinda liked it plain looking. I have added acetate over the image.

The papers are all doodlebug (Have had them years) I figured it was about time i started using some of me 12x12s…lol I never ever use me 12x12s for anything other than scrapbooking,but as i never seem to get the chance to scrap and me piles of 12 x 12s gets bigger all the time i figured that it was about time that i started using some .

Image has been coloured with prisma pencils.

Why not take a LOOKSIE at all the fab creations that have been made by the other girls! ….You could even join in with the challenge :)

Such a long time since i was here :)

Hi Everyone :)

Been MIA due to no internet plus going on holiday. But at long last iam back. Have been creating a few things and colouring loads of images. Bought myse;f a load more prismacolour pencils as i didn’t have a lot of shades, now that i have a wider range they are once again my fave colouring medium…haha! Will i ever just have one fave…..(Nah probably not…lol)

Thought i would join in with a couple of challenges:)

The first being Mo’s Challenge

I bought a few new images…they are so…so sweet, remind me of the Chloe monster on holiday…lol

This weeks challenge is beach/summer…2 of the new images that i bought fit this theme and i could’t decide which to use so i used both images and made 2 cards…haha

How cute are those images…Love them!

I also made another card with one of mo’s images…it isn’t for the challenge ,but thought i’d show it anyways.

 

I also decided to join in with the first ever challenge over at Kenny K’s Krafty Girlz

The challenge is pastels. I actually used me precious Pheobe paper…*Shock horror*

Not sure what was going when i coloured the right side of the hat…lol But figured i would leave it as it was,rather than colour another.

Another quick make with a new sarah kay stamp that i got :) So love me sarah kay stamps ,but just don’t use them nearly enough:(

…and that’s all for now…lol

Will post some holiday pics over next couple of days…and will hopefully have some more creations to show.
